So will Sean Payton appeal the year-long suspension levied by Commissioner Goodell? It seams that if he could at the very least draw out the process, he might be able to be involved in the depleted upcoming draft and the days immediately after the draft.
My thought is that he is too stubborn and proud (arrogant?) to appeal. He didn't go out of his way to apologize to the league and the commissioner in his recent blanket apology. Maybe Goodell will say "April Fools!" on Sunday and let Payton coach the 2012 season.
