Truth be told, a lot of the non-troll Vikings fans I talk to are upset mainly about 2 things - 1) the massive amount of turnovers in the game by Favre and Peterson and 2) the pass interference call that moved the Saints down the field in overtime. They felt that the P.I. call was a bad call and was incidental contact. They wish that P.I. was reviewable.
But the league won't (and perhaps shouldn't) ever make P.I. reviewable because it would take a lot away from the officials who as a team should be able to make the right judgement calls. So, here we have it, the NFL's half-baked solution is this flimsy overtime rule change. Can't believe we're still talking about it but oh well
Someday I hope that the NFL will give up the ghost and use college's OT rule, which is 100 times better than any NFL overtime
