Just another step towards the NFL becoming two hand touch... now instead of players getting late hit flags and fines they'll be having criminal charges filed
|
Good for them. This has gotten SO FAR out of hand. Good job Roger...you freaking idiot.
|
The next logical step is to outlaw all hits that hurt your opponent.
You shall receive a 15 yard penalty for "hitting hard enough to injure". Welcome to the slippery slope Roger. Calling him an idiot is way too kind. |
Wow, I am speechless. This really is disgusting. Society has become so influenced by political correct-ness. People really are idiots.
|
I'm sorry to say what I've been saying, but the NFL is over.
Roger didn't think this through. Or maybe he did and he thinks all this grandstanding is great. Seems to me the NFL would have been MUCH better off making a much smaller deal out of this whole thing, handed down reasonable punishment and just moved on. But oh but hell no, Roger had to puff out his chest. I would like to announce my candidacy. If elected I will ban Roger Goodell from even so much as watching an NFL game on TV ever again. If he were on the effing moon he'd still be too close to football. |
he is changing the very things that made this league what it is and turning it into fag football...note: I said FAG..not flag

Criminal charges huh?
What is the basis for the criminal charges, exactly? Conspiracy to commit assault and battery?? Now here's the thing, if there is a case for criminal charges. Shouldn't that mean the victims, not the NFL, bringing the civil prosecution. Then, and only then, that means ALL the evidence comes out. Oh dear Lord. In theory, how does that work also because surely that would mean that coaches allegedly involved (in the planning) giving evidence, but they will not because they will claim 5th Amendment? |
Slippery slope indeed. Look for players to sue other players now. Can you imagine Joe Theismann suing Lawrence Taylor, for example?
What a mess! What a joke. |
And what happens to Goodell when it comes to light that he has once again destroyed all the 'evidence'? LOL
