The Seahawks organization wanted a change and, with Nike taking over the new uniform duties, they gave Nike the go-ahead to make drastic changes to the uniform. All franchises own their logos and colors, so it has to be done with their permission. This is what perplexes me about the Saints' new cream color. Either the real color looks different on Nike's new material or, some kind of way, Nike got the actual color incorrect. This color is much more closer to Purdue's gold than it is Saints gold. |
