Road Games Games Without Payton
Everybody knows you play half your games on the road away from the advantage of the 13th man. These could be the tough games for us with out coach Payton. Still, the home games look favorable for a win.
Away games not including NFC South opponents.(winnable?) Dallas New York Giants Green Bay Broncos Raiders Our home field advantage is larger than the rest of the NFL. These home games look winnable not including the NFC South.(winnable) Eagles Redskins 49er's Chiefs Chargers My point is we play some tough opponents on the road. Payton was good with that. He had a hand in the organizing. This extra preseason game will not be easy for scheduling......especially being short staffed. The Saints have consistently played well on the road under Payton. I wonder how much his absence will affect the teams performance? |

The saints have consistently played horrible on the road...that was their problem last year. And why we had five turnovers against San Fran

We lost to the rams and the bucs on the road. That's a tough road schedule but I believe we could easily smash every one of those teams but I'm biased. I'd realistically say we'll win all but maybe broncos or green bay. It could be a shoot out those weeks

The team will be heckled horribly on the road (more than usual) because of this off season, but at home there will be a terribly pissed off Saint Nation. IMO, the team plays with a chip on their shoulder this year no matter where they are.

how much worse will it really be on the road?
Tampa's fans will be sunning themselves, and Atl and Car will be tough, as usual. But, how many other fan bases really care? |
