a) I can\'t believe anyone here is still suggesting that the Saints are going to trade with SD. The bottomline is we shouldn\'t pay what that would cost.
b) Why didn\'t Swamme predict that he\'d misspell his own name in the subject line and correct that before it happened? What kind of Mickey Mouse prognosticating organization is he running over there? |

granted, in the beginning of my post, i did not say this was my opinion of what might happen, but it is.. i see no where in your rules that i can\'t state my opinion pertaining to the saints. correct me if i\'m wrong sir. this is a board of discussion and opinion, about the saints, is it not? no apology necessary at this time......swamee |

I\'m a know it all? I know my wife thinks I am, but I didn\'t know it was coming through that way here. Oh well. My true nature has been identified. Is that cause for banishment? Now, my review of part (b) of my post does not indicate to me that I expressed any opinions at all that would require proof. I simply asked two questions. Thus, I can\'t provide any proof of my statements in part (b) because that section is devoid of statements altogether. I do hope your analytical skills improve in the next couple of weeks or your poor professors are in for a horrible time of reading your answers. My two cents on proof... Although I think Saintfan stated it clearly enough for you in another thread, I\'ll reiterate in my own words. Most writings on this forum can be broken down into three categories: opinion, statement of fact, and question. Of the three only statement of fact needs to be backed up by some form of proof although it may help to do what you can by way of proof when expressing your opinion. As stated above, questioning demands no proof. This is true on this forum because of credibility. If you want your statement to have some, you should post the source for the statement. If not, then don\'t cry when people do not believe that your version of the facts is not accurate. However, I don\'t think the rules do or should mandate this for anyone. What is prohibited on this site is personal attacks. I suppose that under a strict (very strict) definition of personal attack I am guilty of such in my response to Swamee\'s dream post. I don\'t regret it because it would be a travesty of justice to ban me based on such a narrow reading of the rule that I can\'t see the fine moderators of this site acting in such an unfair way. However, your post blatantly attacks me personally (\"know it all\"). I think you should be banned for 50, no, 100 days for this as it is not your first offense...but I don\'t enforce the rules here. Lastly, I still believe that there is absolutely no chance that the Saints will move up to the #1 spot to draft Eli. |

Tisk, tisk, tisk, Gator. I asked you not to MAKE me prove to the members of this forum that you\'re guilty of everything you have accused me of...and I\'d like to take this oppurtunity to thank you for going that extra mile and saving me the trouble by opening your mouth and proving it all by your lonesome. On to ELI -- He\'s not here...He\'s not coming... |

JimBone,
I agree, Avatars are overrated! Also, I thought Gator was joking. I was laughing, until I saw there were replies - then I didn\'t know what to think. |

I think he was joking with ScottyRo, JKool, but his sarcasm directed toward me was duly noted. You\'d just have to know the History Man.
