Consulting with Parcells
this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; As I understand it you have to be away from coaching 5 years before you can be a coaching HOF member. Parcells may want to still be around when he is enshrined and could pass up this job even though ...

Consulting with Parcells
As I understand it you have to be away from coaching 5 years before you can be a coaching HOF member. Parcells may want to still be around when he is enshrined and could pass up this job even though he would like to help out his friend Sean.
Instead of hiring him as a coach what do you think of bringing him in as an adviser? He could work with the young OC and brand new DC with game planning and other things his experience brings. He could probably do most of the things a head coach does besides being on the side line.
