Espn radio reports that Julius Peppers appeal will take two more weeks. If the suspension is upheld he will miss the last 4 games of the season. So the Saints shouldnt see him in week 17. How can an appeal take that long?

it shouldnt, appeals are usually heard a week after the suspension but in the case of peppers, it is taking longer

Well I think with the suspension his trip to Honolulu will be postponed. Also Freeny should be able to win the Defensive Rookie of the Year honors.

exactly its all politics, they want him to keep playing so he can pad his stats and win defensive rookie of da year, and maybe defensive player of the year, i mean, he is leading the league in sacks. the nfl wants him to be a poster child

The NFL is a jokw when it comes to their \"substance abuse\" policies. You guys saw what they did with Dale Carter...kinda dangling him in the wind. The real joke is this....you get busted for cocaine and you get a warning. You get busted for something that may be in your system because you bought something over the counter to help with a cold you have and they suspend you for a game. The whole thing is a joke really.
