So bascially, Payton got the same punishment as Williams!

If he has to re-apply, translation, grovel at Kommisar Goodell's feet, for his job back, then his suspension isn't 'just for a year'.

Not necessarily. Payton's suspension is based on if he follows the guidelines. Basically it's a safety net for the NFL so he doesn't get reinstated and they find out he had contact with the team.

Yep. That's Roger covering his ass and making sure Sean doesn't go on the TV or Radio somewhere and tell people how he really feels.

Man this whole thing is so unAmerican as to be completely disgusting. Seriously.
