Payton can't contact Saints, Vitt, Loomis before Super Bowl
this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; So bascially, Payton got the same punishment as Williams! If he has to re-apply, translation, grovel at Kommisar Goodell's feet, for his job back, then his suspension isn't 'just for a year'....
