On the lighter side, I think you guys should draw a line at letting ugly chicks punch you in the head, ... I've taken my fair share of abuse as a fan, but have never been assaulted by an ugly girl, . Continue to march, New Orleans ... |

Y'all are making me feel like a newbie. I've only been a fan since 1970. Any team that'd hire a guy with half a foot to kick for them was my kind of team. I still run into folk who say he cheated. I'll just look at them and say, "He had half a foot for Christ's sakes! What? He'd a done 70 yards if he only had an ankle. Damn cheater!" Now understand, I'm an Ohio boy who now lives in Colorado. I have yet to set foot in Louisiana. I've lived through years of not seeing my team on tv. Got Directtv just so's I finally could. And yes, out here in the midst of Bronco country, I wear my Saints gear all the time. Although now I'm working hard on covering the NFL logo.

Fan = Abbreviation of fanatic.
I am a Saints fan. I was born a Saints fan and I will die a Saints fan. I love the Saints players but I am not a fan of any one player. Players come and go, they play for different teams after the Saints, and some have played for different teams before the Saints. When I beat down on a player who is under preforming it is a reflection on my New Orleans Saints fanaticism, it is a reflection on my "Saints First" frame of mind. It is not an action of disloyalty. The Team, as a whole, is where my loyalty lies. Being a Louisiana native I have seen the State and its sports go on downward spirals because of the "that's our guy" mentality. I am ARMY and would not follow my best friend into combat, I would follow the best leader. People have voted for politicians simply because that's who their daddy voted for, and that has hut the great state of Louisiana. Sorry for rambling.... I have a lot of passion in my team. Who Dat! |

Great Post!
I have a Gold cap with te Fluer in the middle. I wear it often and I have had some people ask why I am still wearing it. I simply say; "Because I am a Saints fan. I still wear my LSU gear and sport my decals on my truck the day after the National Championship game. What do you expect me to do???? Throw it away? I guess I am a more loyal person than you are." |

When asked how to describe myself in one word I usually say loyal. It's how I roll.lol I'm not going anywhere.
I'm still wearing my Saints gear proudly every day and if somebody doesn't like it.........well, screw them! |

I just seems like the rest of NFL world out there, thinks that we should be in complete outrage, and bash our own team and organization. Like they are in charge of how we should feel about all of this. They are not. And questioning why we are defending our team. Makes absolutely no sense to me.
