Sorry if this has been said before but I really am fed up with all the pot-shots coming our way from the media, other teams (and their fans but that is to be expected) but most of all I am fed up of the way some of our own fans have turned. Not many admittedly but they are still there. I didn't like the way Williams mentioned acl and concussions but aside from that, all our naysayers are pretending to be so shocked and horrified just to exacerbate the problem. The high-low on Favre was dangerous and I would have been screaming if it was on Brees but the low was actually blocked into Favre. The bodyslam on Favre? But what about the bodyslam on Brees by Edwards. And since when was it ok to twist a Quarterback's ankle as you get up, Mr. Allen? Stupid hit by Harper in the endzone, yes. But injurious? No, just stupid. Unlike the helmet to helmet leveller of Jimmy Graham by Kenny Phillips or the concussion caused to P. Thomas. Want to be punched in the stomach after the play is over, call Charles Woodson because he won't get ejected, just penalised yardage...
The reason why I am going on this rant is that as much as people say what we have done, it's nowhere near what has been done against us and that's what annoys me. Others may say we have Black and Gold spectacles on, but sometimes we are the only people that see things clearly.
Just one last thing for those thinking we are through this season. If you feel that way and don't have the faith, jump off the rollercoaster and the rest of you...hold on tight because IT'S GONNA BE A HELLUVA RIDE!!!!
