Not bad at all. Really impressed with his movement. The cut block he throws on Harper is a thing of beauty.

Grubbs demolished Harper on that swing pass to rice, from the clips it looks like he's a good blocker that can get to the second level very well, he blocked Vilma nearly every time

He is supposedly a better run/screen blocker than Nicks, but not as good in pass protection, at least according to some of the evaluations I saw of him at the start of the FA period.
That clip seems to support that claim, and I agree with Crusader on the fact that he seems to have great mobility for a big guy. Of course, it would've been nice to be able to keep Nicks, but Grubbs seems like a worthy replacement, and I don't expect any drop-off in the O-line's overall performances because of him. |

Pretty good video. He's quick for a big guy.

His pass pro may not be as good as Nicks, but then again, they are standing in front of one of the fastest decision making and ball releasing QB in the game. Brees makes it easier for everyone standing in front of him. Grubbs is a great fit!
