Looks like Manning doesn't want to be a Charger. He is holding out for the Saints.

Just heard on Sports Center, Manning's agent prefers that the Chargers do NOT draft him. Probably wants to go to the Giants.

Big deal, Gallery is the best player in this entire draft anyway. The Chargers would get much better use out of Gallery and then a wide-out with their second round pick.

According to ESPN.com, former NFL QB Archie Manning does not want his son, Ole Miss QB Eli Manning, to be drafted by the San Diego Chargers. The Chargers, who have the first pick overall in the 2004 NFL Draft, learned of the development through Eli Manning\'s agent, Tom Condon, and general manager A.J. Smith confirmed the news on Wednesday, Apr. 21. ESPN\'s Chris Mortensen reports that Smith understands the younger Manning\'s desire to play in New York, but will do what he feels is best for the team.

Wonder if the trade up to get Eli just became alot cheaper ??

How about Brooks , the 18th pick and a second .....

brooks and the 18th may be enough....
if you really wanna see how fast brooks can run, put him in a chargers uniform.
