They got better, Asante at one corner, Brent Grimes at the other, Robinson in the slot!!!! Robinson is the weakest of the three and thats were we will attack.

Samuels with Grimes on the other side and Dauta playing the nickel. I don't know guys and the master mind SP will be out for the year. The Falcowns got a little better today.

Congrats for not being a Homer, and looking at it from a football standpoint. And to all who said we over reached and paid too much, you need to wake up and smell the coffee! A 7th round pick for a 4 time pro-bowler. If you guys would have made that trade you would be saying it was the trade of the decade! Oh yea, and here you go too!

2011 - 61 targets 4.4 yards per pass (#3 in NFL) 67% success rate (#3 in NFL) 2.0 yac (#2 in NFL)

This is has Blanks stamp written all over it. Falcons are 1-11 vs SP/ Brees Saints era in NFCS. They are trying to find a way of stoping the saints passing game. If Smith loses 2 division games again this season vs the Saints, I would not be surprised to see him replaced next season.

No, not really. Pro baller pass tense, you want the CB during his PB year caddy. I think he's very good, but I also know he comes from weak QB divisions, and Eli is an interception machine.

I think it was a great move. One you have no choice but to do. It explains why probably Blank didn't care about lofton, and the money spent. I think everyone agrees your much better with him. Im just interested to see how he responds to a division only great to elite QB's. He has his work cut out for him. But its a great accusation.

Saints proved that pigs could fly in 2009.
Now its time for another miracle SuperBowl and go where no pig has gone before.

When I said overpaid I was referring to his contract, not the pick you gave up. But if you look at it objectively, the contract plus the draft pick = overpaid.

You got a good player and your team got better, but you overpaid. But this is the time of year when almost everyone overpays for that missing ingredient or overpays to fill a gaping hole somewhere, so no big deal really.

We overpaid for several players on our team.

He's still good, but there's really no one cover corner out there that Brees can't find a way to beat. This may improve the Falcons chances against other teams, but I don't see it as being any real factor against us.
