Loomis welcomes contact from investigators on eavesdropping allegations

Loomis also did not close the door on the possibility of legal action, either against ESPN or whoever it was who made the allegation that an eavesdropping system was in place. ”We are going to explore that,” Loomis said. ”If that is available, then we will pursue it. Loomis claimed that ESPN’s John Barr had been trying to find something negative to report about the Saints since the bounty scandal was disclosed by the NFL.
Which is approximately one month.
I'm not a litigious person but if it were me, I'd be in contact with my legal council and would strongly encourage legal action.

I think he will be but he will wait on the investigation by the State/Federal authorites and then he will have definitive proof that he is innocent. Then once thats finished you have a iron clad case and can take ESPN for a whole bunch of dough. And if I'm Loomis part of the settlement would be for ESPN to publicly apologize on Live TV with him standing there.

Even better is if he can ban all ESPN media from talking to any Saints employees (former or current) or player (former or current), ban all mentioning of Bounty gate and just waive the money part of the settlement. LOL. I think thats more than fair. I mean you did publish a half a$$ report that caused a city/state and F***ing FEDERAL investigation that could not only ruin this man's career that he's hanging onto by a thread right now but put him in prison too....

I'm sure it's a pipe dream, but the best way to sting ESPN would be to ban their reporters from contact. Oh great day indeed!

It's looking a little bit brighter out there.
