My third round target picks - pre draft rankings lmao
Round 3 (No. 89 overall)
names i like but expect to be off the board. Bruce Irvin, DE/OLB, West Virginia - opppssssss round 1 lmao. so much for mock ratings ok a pet pick of mine but 2 years of college playing time and in a system where he was miss used only makes me wonder how high is the ceiling with this kid at the OLB position. At DE he needs a lot of work and bulking up. Pass rushing is his thing. Not taking on OL right now. Derek Wolfe DT/DE Cincinnati Yet another pet of mine. His size, strength, speed and quickness on the inside will drive OG in the NFL nuts. The ability to bounce outside is a big plus. Brandon Brooks, G/T, Miami of Ohio - the wtf pick of 2012. dude might have some game. OG for sure. stay at RT? maybe Orson Charles, Georgia (Jr.) 6-3, 251- ok falling like a rock from the #1 TE before the season. Could be a steal. Joe Adams , WR, Arkansas - We all know him in the SEC. the kid can play. I would love to have him i just do not like his blocking skills. whiffes alot. He needs to hit the weight room. Ron Brooks CB LSU - how far up will his 4.39 40 push him? 4.3 does not impress me as much as the fact every team went to his side because Claiborne So my pick for the round Offense A.J. Jenkins, WR, Illinois - opppssssss round 1 lmao. so much for mock ratings I like the fact he can play out side and play the slot is huge in terms of fitting the most needs at WR for the team. The kid needs to hit the weight room and get coached up ot beat the jam at the line better. Drew and the team can make the kid stay focused. I think the ceiling is very high with him. Offense James Hanna, TE/HB, Oklahoma Height: 6-3 3/4 Weight: 252 Arm: 33 1/8 Hand: 9 7/8 Wingspan: 77 7/8 Speed: 4.46 10 yd: na 20 YD Shuttle: 4.11 3- Cone: 6.76 225 lb. bench press reps 24 Vertical jump 36.05 Broad jump : 10' 02" A mid-4.4 runner with the wheels to stretch the field and the hands and moves to make things happen around the goal line. He proved he could run even at a bigger size and can still get more physical when he added 15 lbs from last years playing weight. He has proved to be far more athletic than he shows on tape with better raw skills and tools than just about any tight end in the draft. However, he didn’t actually do much on deep plays and wasn’t a go-to target. He’s not a great blocker and he needs a lot of work on his route running ability, but he’s too athletic not to develop Defense Brandon Hardin, CB/FS/SS/ST, Oregon State Height : 6' 2-1/2" Weight : 219 lbs. Arm length : 31-3/4" Hand size : 9-1/4" Wingspan : 75-1/4" 40 yard dash : 4.44/4.36 10 yd: 20 YD Shuttle: 4.17 60 YD Shuttle: 11.04 3- Cone: 6.88 225 lb. bench press reps : 24 Vertical jump : 35-1/2" Broad jump : 10'-4" The kid is a hitter. He seems to loves gunning on special teams. He fits the Spags mold for safety. Big fast and nasty. Thats why i see SS as a spot for him. In Spags system the SS need to be more of a FS than old school SS. This kid fits the bill. ok injury history here. shoulder last year in camp put him out for the season. 24 reps says it appears to be fine. Wrist and hand are usual things. It is a gamble and a reach in most books but if the saints can trade back a few spots and pick up an additional pick later in the draft i could live with it as a gamble that could pay off big time. Both solid projects that can pay off big time |

Green is a TE tho....I would not mind gettting him there tho.....Him & Graham can be the 'Twin Towers' cuz they're both so tall. Those 2 TE sets would be sick. It takes that pressure off of Graham cuz you have to worry about Green too who has awesome hands. Kinda what the Pats do with Gronk & Hernandez.

Ron Brooks didn't actually play opposite of Mo Claiborne. He was a nickel back and Tharold Simon was the third corner. I don't think he'll be drafted but I'd love to sign him as a free agent. He has great speed and overall athleticism. Last year he really came into his own and made a lot of big plays in that nickel role. So he could be a perfect fit to do just that for the Saints.
