this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; I think, by rule, since the\'ve \'tagged\' him w/franchise player, they have to wait until after some point (June 1?) to even start talking to the player. Otherwise, they lose the ability to use the Franchise tag on someone else, ...

I think, by rule, since the\'ve \'tagged\' him w/franchise player, they have to wait until after some point (June 1?) to even start talking to the player. Otherwise, they lose the ability to use the Franchise tag on someone else, for the duration of the contracet he might sign.
