There will be lots of vets sending up flares before the season starts.
I'm with nicebush25 on this one, I wouldn't spend another dime until Brees was locked. Then I would fish around for what I could snag with the leftover nickels and pennies. |

After all, we're talking about the 4th/5th CB. That should be a vet minimum player. With all the young guys on the roster we may already have our 5th CB, and maybe even our 6th if desired.

Still, a lot is riding on Patrick being able to fill Porter's shoes, but I did like what I saw out of him last season, so hopefully he'll be a happy surprise this coming season - the Saints could sure use one of those. |
