What just happened with the Saints 3rd round pick?

The Saints traded their third round pick to Washington for a second round pick in 2005 and swapped fifth round picks with the Redskins. :casstet:

There was nobody there to take really, except for maybe a backup (with tons of potential) like Nat Dorsey or Kelly Butler. So I think getting a 2nd round pick next year for a 3rd rounder this year, was a smart move.
