Definitely NO to WildCat offense!
And WC doesn't stand for innovation anymore, it's living in the past. Teams that don't have as good of an offense as the Saints do need to use such gimmicks in an effort to confuse the defense - the Saints don't because they are that good that they can beat the other guys straight on. And furthermore, what's truly innovative is SP's play creation and situational playcalling - the book probably stays the same in most areas, but we'll see PC's true capabilities as a playcaller this coming season. |

No wildcat! PLEASE!
The Saints two-back set is already part of a vast array of options we currently use. Two-backs with one in motion, Two-backs with run/screen to either side, Two-backs save one for chipping and a safety valve, Two-backs with one isolated one-on-one with a linebacker, We already rip teams apart with this formation. Just don't take Brees off the field until the extra point. |

One of these days you are going to see a crazy fake flea-flicker or fake reverse type play involving Lance Moore throwing a humongous bomb down the field, but I think that's as close to a wildcat as the Saints will ever get. Someone (can't remember if it was Drew or someone else) once hinted that Lance can throw the ball deep, back in the days when he was sometimes listed as emergency 3rd QB.

Lance Moore is probably a good punter and a good undersized cornerback also.
He just rolls like that. That boy is a player! |

I love Lance. I was so happy that he resigned with the Saints last year.
