Wow, I am really surprised this jack hole actually took up for us. He made a great case for our team and somebody got some splaing to do mmmmmhmm.

Good for Florio manning up and admitting he jumped the gun with some of his articles when this was first released. I think a lot of people in the media are starting to question the NFL but they're doing it quietly because they don't have the guts to admit they may have been wrong. Unfortunately the media isn't as anxious to jump all over the NFL like they did to the Saints.

That's because indirectly, the NFL is their employer. The small endorsements and charity events writers make are ALLOWED by the NFL, access to lockerrooms and press conferences are ALLOWED by the NFL.

If the NFL shuts down a writer or blogger for saying the wrong thing, then they can pretty much go get a job at Walmart because THEY'RE DONE!

NOTICE WHAT FLORIO SAID:

Quote:

Florio also stressed the importance of what Gregg Williams may have said to Goodell earlier this year when they met. If Williams told Goodell that Vilma put up money for bounties on players, then of course, the upholding of Vilma’s suspension is a slam dunk. But, as Florio indicates, Willams never admitted to the league that the Saints had a pay-to-injure scheme. He did admit to a pay-for-performance system – such as extra money for interceptions and the like – which is expressly forbidden by the NFL.

Williams even apologised to the Saints organisation and the NFL, saying, ”I want to express my sincere regret and apology to the NFL, Mr. Benson, and the New Orleans Saints fans for my participation in the ‘pay for performance’ program while I was with the Saints. It was a terrible mistake, and we knew it was wrong while we were doing it.” But he never admitted to the pay-to-injure notion.

It's about time Florio takes his balls out of his purse.

I still don't trust anything he says.

and with clear evidence that this has gone on for years with other teams and they actually admitted it.
