Well you guys are all talking about next year... And this year has yet to begin. Haslett sealed his fate by picking Will Smith with the first pick. If they don\'t win a play off game this year Haslett will be done, as well he should be. If I were Tom Benson and was watching the draft and they Picked Will Smith......Haslett, Loomis and everyone that voted he was the best choice would have been fired on the spot

I don\'t know if I necessarily agree with this. I think we would have seen a more desparate Haslett if he knew his time was coming(like Ditka\'s move for R. Williams). It COULD be it for him this year, but I think it\'s unlikely. First of all....I think we will make the playoffs. I don\'t think that anyone can deny we are a better team right now than we were last year. Last year we were a game away from making the playoffs. Barring any injuries, we should be good enough to make the playoffs. Second of all.....if we don\'t make the playoffs there may be serious reasons for it...like let\'s say INJURIES. That was a main pitfall for us last season, and we STILL almost made the playoffs.
