Some 'Bountgate' Saints still fighting mad: Railroaded by NFL?
 

Players say they have seen the discipline letters from the NFL to the Saints' Sean Payton, Gregg Williams, Joe Vitt and Mickey Loomis. They claim those letters don't simply state the allegations and the imposed punishment. They claim the letters tell the four men, in general terms, that if they stay mostly quiet, the league will let them back into the sport after a certain number of games. (The NFL denied this, but wouldn't address other claims by Saints players.)

The whole thing is a sad farce. The NFLs angle is transparent. It's a friggin joke, and Saintfan is an angry young (okay not so young) man...

It would have been nice if some of these "writers" did their homework from the start. It's unfortunate for the Saints organization and us fans because the only people reading these articles are Saints fans. Fans from others teams and the mainstream media chopped us down and moved on assuming everything they heard 2 months ago was true. While its nice to see articles questioning Goodell, it frustrates me knowing its not getting anywhere near the publicity the story got 2 months ago.
