We should note that the saints violated the "cap" by 36 million dollars. Is there going to be a repercussion on cap space? Is that why management is reluctant to sign drew?

No because we didn't violate it as much as the Cowboys & Redskins did, they violated the "cap" with way more that 36mil... the Boys and the Skins got their cap space cut and the money that was taken by the NFL was distributed to the rest of the teams...our punishment for our smaller infraction was that we weren't allowed to get any of the money the rest of the teams were getting that Cowboys and Redskins had to essentially pay back to the NFL.
