Players got lawyers NFL has lawyers Goodell has lawyers.
Only way to win is first play first game gotta knock em the #### out!
That would get Goodell's attention as well as the rest of the NFL

Perhaps the players need to stop looking at the NFL as a career and look at it as a job.

If you or I stop working at 32 years old we are a f-in bum....

Retire means = Worked somewhere long enough to draw a pension, or never has to work again.

Very few NFL players make enough money to stop playing and never work again... So it is not a career, it is a job.... and a short term job at that.

Average NFL Player Salary = $1.9m
\Average NFL career length = 3.5 years

Average career pay for an NFL Player is $6.65m

So lets see... Grad College at 23, play till your 27.... Live till you are 70.

47 years to live on $6.65m

Thats $141,000.pp a year. Sounds decent until to look at $147,000.00 in say 2059 dollars.....

In 2012 147,000 with 4% inflation in 40 years would have to be $705,750.

IDK, wouldn't that mean a lot of them would have to drop the telecommunications/physical education majors and start taking engineering courses in college?

Well, if I was in the Big Easy, I can assure you that I wouldn't be eating a burrito or a taco, just saying. As for my vote, I voted to keep the law suits coming but no strike, however, a strike by the players would get the leagues attention, if all the players in the league went on strike too, but even if just the Saints players went on strike it might get interesting as well.

Afterv looking at X626XBlacks's numbers I realize how poor I am and need a burrito now. Sad thing is that the Lawers are there already being paid on retainer now looking for big bucks. The NFL in my opinion needs to have health care to take care of these guys getting hurt which would solve a lot of problems. I thnk they can afford that to prevent all this kind of mess.

Here is the catch.. (because its my nature to find one).

If you are going to keep the lawyers coming.. you cant rule out a strike.

Its like a gun, if you pull it out, you better be able to use it or it will be used on you.
