I really think Chase can handle being the starter if he had too. And with Drew holding out all this extra work Chase is getting may keep us away from what the Colts faced last year if an injury happens

I also think Chase could do well as a starter on this team.

But we all know Drew commands the team. The whole team. And that's not something easily replaced...by anybody. Whether it's needed to win a championship is surely debatable.

Chase has the skills to be a good player for us, but drews leadership and command of the team cannot be replaced

Why do people assume Chase doesn't have the leadership skills that Drew has?

I'm glad chase is getting the reps and looking good in practice. This can only help our team if, god forbid, Drew gets hurt at some point this season. This will prevent us from going thru a "Colt's style Fiasco". Drew will be signed at some point, of that I am sure.So its nice to have a quality back up that can come in if necessary.

chase is drew's right hand man. drew has said it time and time again. chase will do fine till drew comes back and he will be a much better back for it.

Good, maybe he'll get a chance to throw the ball this year instead of just implementing the running game....just saying.....
