I really think Chase can handle being the starter if he had too. And with Drew holding out all this extra work Chase is getting may keep us away from what the Colts faced last year if an injury happens

Chase has the skills to be a good player for us, but drews leadership and command of the team cannot be replaced

I'm glad chase is getting the reps and looking good in practice. This can only help our team if, god forbid, Drew gets hurt at some point this season. This will prevent us from going thru a "Colt's style Fiasco". Drew will be signed at some point, of that I am sure.So its nice to have a quality back up that can come in if necessary.
