That, and you need to think about the phrasing of Paytons punishment.... TO me, suspension means i am suspended until a certain date and then it is automatically lifted...
In Paytons case, unless I have miss understood something, he is not reinstated until Goodell reviews and decides he is.... Essentially Payton got the same punishment as Williams except Payton has a review date for reinstatement. This is also why he appealed once then went quiet. |
