Following Tuesday's minicamp, interim Saints Coach Joe Vitt raved about Grubbs, pointing out his ability to help with line calls and at the same time, dominate at the point of attack.

"(Grubbs is) very, very smart, very detailed player," Vitt said. "He is probably a little better communicator on the offensive line than Carl Nicks was, so he is going to be a positive influence for (left tackle) Jermon Bushrod.
