Some early Saints observations
I have been able to watch virtually all the Offseason Training Activities of the New Orleans Saints that were open to the media, and I am convinced today, as I was before the sessions started, that the road to the NFC South title will again pass through New Orleans as long as quarterback Drew Brees stays healthy for the entire 2012 season.

Really good article
It easy to forget how many players we have for our new style of D now, i can't wait to see each one of them make an impact. I think Curtis Lofton and David Hawthorne are going to thrive in this system, if chris chamberlain gets the start at strong side he should produce after being in the same system for 4 years. I cant wait to see two players in particular, Nick toon and Akiem Hicks, that article rates them both as good players and I hope they make a big impact for us this coming season. On a side note.......... I thought there was only a minor detail for brees' contract? Sign the damn contract drew, we've offered you more and more 3 times now! |

And until he signs, this means nothing. |

OTA thoughts
- Funny hearing them talk about Will Smith and Cameron Jordan moving inside to the DT spot. - Somebody tell me why SS is still a linebacker on this team. I much rather get Rocky McCintosh for the last LB and take my chances. |

We may have managed to find a couple of gems in the draft. It seems like we are able to get quality guys later. I realize that we take chances on players that slid down the draft board for whatever reason. I wonder how last years injured players look this year?
