Crawfish & Clams: New England Patriots, New Orleans Saints talk joint practice
The New England Patriots contacted the New Orleans Saints on Wednesday to discuss the possibility of holding joint practices during the teams' training camps, ESPN reported.
"I got a fax from Bill Belichick this morning and we're taking a look at that," interim coach Joe Vitt said Wednesday, who added that he hoped to have a decision in "the next 24 hours or so." The same teams held joint practices at Gillette Stadium in 2010. The Patriots and Saints face off in the preseason opener for both teams on Aug. 9. Read more.
