Name some players we let go or traded that went on to have good careers with other teams
this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; I remember Wesly Walls. Ricky Williams too, but there were a few more I cannot remember and was hoping you guys could help out....

Wesley Walls, we kept Irv Smith...
Jake Delhomme, we kept Aaron Brooks... Willie Roaf, for a fourth/third round pick - that one really hurts... Laroi Glover left via Free Agency... Sam Mills left via Free Agency and taught the Panthers how to win early, and often; he even coached after he retired from playing... I have never forgave the Saints for trading Archie Manning; Mills and Manning departures are as bad as the bountygate BS in my eyes... |
