The NFL draft guessing game is replaced by selection reality, and the real look at the 2004 offseason has reached its zenith for most teams.
The salary cap will force some teams to cut players after June 1, but for the most part, teams already have their core in place. When last season ended for the New Orleans Saints, virtually everyone could see the team needed help at cornerback, middle linebacker, outside linebacker, defensive tackle and wide receiver.
