“I know exactly what [happened] and what didn’t,” Fujita said. ”The problem with this whole thing is that it’s just an unfortunate situation where you have a defensive coordinator [Gregg Williams] who I like a lot, but said a lot of really vulgar, inappropriate, outlandish things. You couple that with some guys who occasionally throw in some money for big plays — which I have admitted to doing — and it becomes a perfect storm, and also it comes at a time politically when I think the league was looking for something like this.

Good for SF.
Good for him. Good quote from Fujita. Thx for posting it, QBrees9. Clear his name. He and the others are not asking for anything unreasonable, but since accused, punished, well, where is the evidence held against them...that is all they are asking for. Fulita also said, "If you’re accused of something you didn’t do, and they were going to not only ruin your reputation, but also take a lot of money away from you, you would not just lie down. So it’s troubling. " |

I think he and the other players are also asking that the NFL and Goodell stop fabricating evidence , oldmaid.
Thats the real reason this firestorm started in the 1st place. IF Goodell had just said " Look I have no comment, the Saints have paid for what happened everyone make mistakes. The Saints are a great organization, and we're not the only team guilty of this. The message is, we need to stop it now" .. and kept his mouth shut. I don't believe it would have gone this far. It still amazes me how incompetently this has been handled by Goodell. |
Saints proved that pigs could fly in 2009.
Now its time for another miracle SuperBowl and go where no pig has gone before. ![]() Last edited by pherein; 06-24-2012 at 07:15 AM.. |

This whole mess is Roger's making. He's doing nothing more than serving his agenda, and one day Karma will bite him squarely in the ass for it. ![]() |
