Forgotten greats

Great players from the Saints past who seem to be forgotten. Who ya got?

I'll start.

Tommy Meyers
Joe Federsiel
Derland Moore
Jim Wilkes
Steve Stonebreaker (OK he wasn't great but he started the greatest fight I ever saw during a sporting event.)
Dave Parks
Emanuel Zanders The Z-Man!
Howard Stevens

And the King of the List, Doug (The Man Mountain) Atkins. Possibly the greatest Saints player ever.

Danny Abramowicz... anyone who refuses to leave after being cut then comes back to b an All Pro gets my vote.

"After refusing to leave New Orleans when he was cut, the Saints' 17 th round pick in the 1967 NFL Draft went on to catch 177 passes for 20 TDs in the decade. Abramowicz was first team All-Pro in 1969 when he led the NFL with 73 receptions."
