My .02 on this.... This is from a legal mind frame... i am no lawyer... Just an average joe schmoe...
1. This is an ambiguous contract. "Courts abide by the rule that an ambiguous contract is interpreted against the party who drafted it. In other words, the party who did not draft the contract will be given the benefit of the doubt so to speak. " Interpretation of Ambiguous contracts - Interpretation of Contracts - Contracts 2. The CBA is a contract between the NFLPA and the NFL... Not a player and a team. This is the reason I feel it was written with out a 3 Tag to one team consideration. Had this been in a contract between Brees and a team than I would read it differently. The CBA is not team specific in any of its clauses that I can see. |

i willing to put my nuts on the line and say that the contract is done (minus signatures) and as long as drew is not signed he can talk to payton. him and payton are putting game plans together so drew can relay this to carmichael/ vitt.
**i did hear this from my mother in law who works for Dr Finney also...confirming my theory. i know mother in laws arent credible source but its the only way for coach to communicate with the team right now, so it makese sense t me |
