Article on the Saints offensive line
The offensive line, which remains a solid cog in the Saints’ offensive machine, returns four starters and has added a pro-bowler in Ben Grubbs who has looked fantastic in workouts. Grubbs, who joined the team this off-season after five years in Baltimore, has fit seamlessly into the team’s offensive strategy.

I think Grubbs will fit in just fine. May see a small drop off in the beginning until they develop a little continuity.

I agree. Training camp should get Grubbs and Brees used to working together, and the pre-season should put the following touches on!

I thought Grubbs was better at run blocking.

hmm I think your right, but by his bio Nicks is better at both than him.

Nicks is probably a little more talented overall than Grubbs, but Grubbs was easily the best free-agent OG available this offseason. Doesn't hurt that we paid much less than Nicks was demanding.
The O-line looks like a sturdy group to me, if a little lacking in depth. Center is particularly worrisome, I guess Matt Tennant will start? |

That's right! I had forgotten De La Puente, and the rosters I've seen still have him listed as an OG.
With all the yards Drew threw for last year, must've been doing something right! |
