The majority of these posts are very similar. In fact, there\'s only one that I\'d argue with:
I\'m eager to see if J.T. O\'Sullivan can do well in the pro\'s. I think that there\'s alot of promise in the guy. But he\'s not playing against the NFL\'s first stringers. He\'s not even playing against second or third stringers. On to the topic. The Saints look very good on paper. And if you believe in trends you\'d say that alot of good coaches struggled in their first four years before they became successful and that alot of third year receivers (Donte Stallworth) really turned into something special. I don\'t know that I believe in either of these trends but I certainly think that Stallworth has the talent to be one of the best receivers in the NFL. The Falcons have talented playmakers at positions that need a playmaker. Quarterback, receiver, cornerback. But they don\'t have great help surrounding those positions. Vick has health issues and they have no featured back. The Buc\'s have a problem with arguably the most important position on the field. Quarterback. They don\'t even know who their starter is. Gruden has said that the quarterback position will be settled in camp. If I were a Buc\'s fan I wouldn\'t have faith in any of their options at qb. Will the 32 year old Garner start at rb? More questions at the rb position again. The Panthers have alot to prove this season. They\'re not under the radar this time around and more teams will know how to play against them. I\'m with Gumbo and Whodat, I can see this team going into a superbowl slump. [Edited on 5/12/2004 by iceshack149] |

Nah - I think the offense will play better from the start. Healthy, dangerous, and with a defense that probably won\'t put them in crappy spots. They\'ll come out swinging just as long as Brooks doesn\'t turn the ball over.
