I think I read somewhere that the Saints can only offer Toon $491K. (only pfft. Wish my boss could ONLY offer me half a million this year)
Rookies salaries come from a separate pool and between the loss of draft picks through trade and penalty decreasing the size of the Saints pool this year and what they've already spent on their other draft picks, that's all that's left. EDIT: Actually, I read it here, in the "What Nick Toon Can Expect" thread. EDIT #2: I coulda swore there was another thread about Toon and this post was in it. (que twilight zone theme music) Gettin old sucks. |
