I'll just say that's interesting.... :o

A pick at any number next year for Joe Horn this year makes no sense. This staff needs to win this year. If we were getting a player for Joe at a need position maybee. While things are chippy with Donte\' now it would be foolish to bet the farm on him being in the starting lineup for all 16 regular season games and through the playoffs without injury. To expect a rookie to come in and do the same with an equal impact to what Horn brings would be foolish likewise. Is it possible for these things to happen? Sure it is! The probability of it though is unlikely. Last year Joes production dropped a bit but keep in mind that Donte\' was hurt most of the year and most teams foccused more on Horn with double teams as there wasn\'t a receiver on the other side that could stretch the defense. Also Joe played hurt most of the year on a bad knee but he lined up every week except the last week when we were already eliminated from the playoff picture. He hasn\'t fully recovered from knee surgery so any team trading for him would have to be concerned somewhat about that. I think this bit of news may be designed to test league wide interest but I would be more inclined to think that it may be designed to bring his huge ego and big mouth in check.

Don\'t get to excited... that isn\'t a quote... heresay at best or a mere thought about how well Stallworth and Henderson\'s progress is all... I don\'t think there is any substance to that at all...

After Horn called Hasbeen out on the receiver coach change and then the Super Bowl comments Horn made , it is only a matter of time before Horn earns the cancerous player of the year award .....

Gotta love the fans who turn on Hollywood. He\'s only been our SINGLE best receiver for years running now. Anytime you needed that big catch, Joe was there. He\'s not been blessed with blazing speed or physical prowess, but he\'s been a darn good playmaker. I love Joe, he seems to WANT TO WIN EVERYGAME!!! He\'s full of intensity, and has a few more very productive years in front of him.

I know that people here aren\'t suggesting that we trade Horn now, but there has been that talk in the past. It\'s ridiculous as far as I\'m concerned. Many of these people are the ones eager to praise Aaron Brooks too. Let me just say this - a good part of AB\'s success to date can be attributed to the fact that he has had a consistent Pro Bowl receiver out there catching passes. As a QB, you\'ve gotta love a guy whose \"off-year\" include just shy of 1,000 yards receiving and double digit TDs.

Second, many people talk about AB\'s numbers being so much better than the next best Saints QBs (which many people assume to be Archie, but statistically it was Everett). Joe Horn\'s numbers eclipse the next best Saints receiver, IMO, by a greater margin than Brooks beats out our other QBs. Simply put - Joe Horn is far and away the best receiver ever to wear black and gold. I realize that he will probably be traded in the near future, however, personally, I would love to see him retire a Saint. Further, trading him THIS season is just plain foolish.

I agree. He is one the very few gamers other than Deuce that we can depend on.

Not only that but he makes the Saints fun to watch .

Hasbeen needs to get over the scapegoat mentality and start coaching the players .....

Joe Horn is the only member of the Saints with any personality. The Saints would be a very boring team without him. Deuce is great, but very subdued...Brooks is a top ten QB, but he has a very reserved demeanor...Joe Horn thinks he is a lot better than he is and i love that about him. He gives great interviews, he is funny to listen to, he does silly things on the field, and he produces. This may very well be his last year here but I dont think the Saints can start the season without him. He is definitely a need for us this year.

Aaaaaayyyyyy!!
