Vilma claims suspension jeopardizes his medical condition
Along with the obvious (and potent) contention that there’s no way to restore the lost games to Vilma’s career if he ultimately is exonerated, Vilma claims that the suspension will jeopardize his medical condition.
The motion and the signed affidavit from Vilma, copies of which PFT has obtained, explain that Vilma has an injury that requires rehabilitation under the supervision of the Saints medical staff. Vilma claims suspension jeopardizes his medical condition | ProFootballTalk |

I hate to say it, but as the days drag on and it appears this thing will never end, I don't understand why the Saints haven't released Vilma.
Taking nothing away from his point, he's been screwed, but if the Saints were being "hostile" to Drew over the Vilma incident, why haven't they released him? I guess we'll know after he gets the injunction or not... |

"splitting-baby" .... Could have chosen better words... Never the less, I suspect that Vilma can afford a top quality PT if he is not allowed back in the locker room.
German blood transfusions bring Frankenstein images to my head.... Removing body parts and relocating them is never a good way to start a season for a professional athlete. Ill say it again... Cut him and rehire him as an Assistant LB coach... The Management of the team is equally responsible for Vilma's predicament, and they owe him. |

This isn't Vilma. This is Ginsberg trying to get it moved up. He wants to become a nuisance. (Spelling?) He wants to get the case heard asap.
Ultimately, making money AND health a concern, the court should be more likely to hear it sooner. Ginsberg things that as soon as they are willing to listen to oral arguments, he'll be able to question the "evidence". Let's hope he's right. |

What this does do is cause a Judge to have to review more paperwork, probably the Judge that will hear the case, and also putting it back in the public spotlight... If I were the judge I would be a little annoyed.
Its grandstanding. |

This is really starting to read like Vilma/Lawyers scraping the bottom of the barrell in hope.
I think the handling of the bounty case was a mess but there is Norway I see any of the players winning there cases to be honest.Irs lawyers looking after themselves as the get paid alot either way. |

Vilma is fighting for his life......not literally but he is fighting for his health. He is wrongly accused and deserves to be vindicated. I hope he drags this out until Godhell resigns in disgrace and then gets committed to an insane asylum. I was going to say that he then committed suicide but I wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy..........even though he is my worst enemy.
