Yes, Bush was a disappointment in N.O. But a lot of that was due his being drafted so high and our unrealistic expectations. I think Reggie tried too mhard to live up to those expectations and it really hurt his game. I can understand the criticism because he did drive me crazy with the dancing, fumbles, bad punt returns etc.
But I think many people go over board in their criticism. Reggie was a valuable member of the team and became one the best third down backs in the NFL. He also handled the situation like a man and didn't sulk or become a malcontent. Best of luck to him where ever he plays and in his future after football. (And thank the football gods that we got Darren Sproles.) |
