If he would restructer the contract Freeney would be a great signing.
He would also be the perfect mentor to Hicks aswell. Not many better players to learn from. Just from reports we have 8.5ml free space and if the Vilma appeal fails his money ontop. If there is any season to take the risk on a players it one that allows you to make history by winning a home Super Bowl and the thought of that fool having to hand the trophy to Mr Benson makes me smile...Alot. |

I just watched Loomis deal out a 100 million dollar contract over 5 years with 60 mil guaranteed.... AND drop our cap figure by 6 mil...
I am sure he can handle Freeny's measly salary. Actually..... when Loomis is finished with Freeney's contract we will have 26 million in cap space. |

Jordan is a quality LDE who's only gonna get better. Smith is very solid and I expect his production to increase dramatically under Spagnoulo. Galette and Wilson are lightning fast youngsters who could easily develop into pass rushing demons. McBride has proven, when healthy, is at worst an average NFL DE. As a group I'd say we're about NFL average with good upside in Galette and Wilson. |
