The New Orleans Saints' Adrian Arrington May Have a Chance to Prove Himself Soon: Fan's Take
The New Orleans Saints lost wide receiver Robert Meachem to free agency this offseason. Meachem averaged 43 receptions over the past three seasons, and someone on the team's roster will now need to step in to fill that hole. Veteran Devery Henderson may see more playing time as a result, or rookie Nick Toon could be expected to help compensate. There is also a chance, though, that the Saints will finally give more targets to Adrian Arrington.

Not really feeling it. Haven't really ever felt it. It's never seemed like his focus was there. There's a lot of competition this year and I'm don't think he's up to it. We could be seein' AA takin' the twelve steps out the door this year. Just sayin'.....

Not much of a fan. Doesn't even mention Morgan as being in the mix, who in my eyes, has way more upside.
|
Nick Toon and Joe Morgan are the future. I've never felt AA was going to step up and do anything.

In the last game he played... He SUCKED.

yea I think the days of the AA experiment are done. He doesn't play special teams and that is going to hurt him. Morgan, Toon, or Givins will step up this year.
|
Well were waiting !!!!! I hope he does show eveyone what he got.

I think Toons will impress.

With Toon and Colston on opposite sides of the field, I think Arrington is done.
He has had his moments but hasn't really shown an ability to sustain a high level of play. He's stayed around because he was a cheap alternative to injury and he knew the playbook. I've got more hope for Andy Tanner and Joe Morgan than I do for Arrington. Unless Payton has some sort of cloaking device to hide AA until he gets back. he's probably gone. |
I was initially riding high on the AA express. Not so much anymore...........I've lost that lovin' feeling.
|
Every time I have seen AA play he was pretty good. Not sure what everyone else is seeing.

I think the title of this article is poorly phrased. It's not a matter of Arrington getting a chance to prove himself, he's had 2 years worth of chances. The difference this year is that if doesn't prove himself, he's gone.

Joe Morgan that's who I want to see this year. The hand full of games AA has played he hasn't looked but now its a numbers thing.
