The New Orleans Saints' Adrian Arrington May Have a Chance to Prove Himself Soon: Fan's Take
The New Orleans Saints lost wide receiver Robert Meachem to free agency this offseason. Meachem averaged 43 receptions over the past three seasons, and someone on the team's roster will now need to step in to fill that hole. Veteran Devery Henderson may see more playing time as a result, or rookie Nick Toon could be expected to help compensate. There is also a chance, though, that the Saints will finally give more targets to Adrian Arrington.

Not really feeling it. Haven't really ever felt it. It's never seemed like his focus was there. There's a lot of competition this year and I'm don't think he's up to it. We could be seein' AA takin' the twelve steps out the door this year. Just sayin'.....

Not much of a fan. Doesn't even mention Morgan as being in the mix, who in my eyes, has way more upside.

Nick Toon and Joe Morgan are the future. I've never felt AA was going to step up and do anything.

True dat, but was it because he was that good, or just readily available and already knew the system? He had one decent game in 2010 with 7 catches for 79 yards. Last year was absolutely abysmal at 2 catches for 31 yards in four games. Those're some ugly numbers for a receiver in Drew's Friendly Skies. This year's competition for the field and even his spot on the bench are the best he's been up against. I think he's running routes on a practice squad or announcing on a radio station by season's start.

yea I think the days of the AA experiment are done. He doesn't play special teams and that is going to hurt him. Morgan, Toon, or Givins will step up this year.
