Fred Thomas went down in practice today with a twisted ankle and was carried off and is day to day. This may make the Saints go after McKenzie a little more aggresively. But, as of right now the Packers\' asking price it too high.

Donte\' looks absolutely amazing in practice. Said the Saints\' cornerbacks can keep up with Joe Horn, Pathon, and Devery Hederson, but NO ONE has been able to handle Donte. Donte has been blowing everyone away in practice and they simply can\'t handle him.

Ashley Ambrose made an incredible interception against Pathon and was dancing around after making the int.. Ambrose has been looking good.

Linebakers have an incredible amount of speed. Justin Gutierrez says this is the fastest linebacing crew he has ever seen the saints with and he\'s been around them for over 20-years.

Donte\' was a no show for the interview and the guys weren\'t happy about that....

Workouts are crisp and the team appears to be taking a much more professional approach than in the past.

Jay Glazer:

He doesn\'t see the Packers letting McKenzie go. Glazer was told by the Packers thay will not come off their asking price. There are no cornerbacks out there right now worth signing. The Patriots may get rid of Ty Law right before the season starts like they did Lawyer Milloy.

Trotter was just too inconsistent and there\'s a reason he\'s availible. He\'s just not that good anymore.

If Donte\' has a break-out season, the rest of the NFC South will be in trouble trying to cover our receivers because the cornerbacks are weak in the NFC South.
