ricky update
The bad news for the Miami Dolphins is that, after their Sunday loss in Buffalo, they\'re bunched in the pack with the rest of the clubs in the AFC East. The worse news is that they now owe New Orleans a second-round choice in the 2003 draft. As part of the deal for tailback Ricky Williams, the Dolphins gave the Saints a third-round choice in \'03. But the pick escalated to a second-rounder Sunday, when Williams went over the 1,200-yard mark. If he reaches 1,500 yards, and he only needs to average 54 yards in the final four games to accomplish that, the selections escalates to a first-round choice. Coach Dave Wannstedt joked, when the trade was made, that he wouldn\'t mind surrendering the first-round choice since, if Williams cracked 1,500 rushing yards, it likely would mean the Dolphins were a Super Bowl contender. Imagine how the Dolphins will feel, though, if Williams rushed for 1,500 yards and they miss the playoffs
