Does he stay?

this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; I don't think that his running style has anything to do with his injuries. This is a training/stretching preparation issue....

I agree that he could probably do lot in the training room to better prepare his physique to the pounding he gets, but I think that his running style also contributes to this as well.

His running style reminds me a lot of Marion Barber, very upward with closed hips, and like Barber, Ivory has had a multitude of lower body injuries because he never seems to lower his pad level to absorb the incoming hits.

Barber retired at 28 largely because of the injuries, and as of know it strongly looks like Ivory is headed down that same road.

Still, a heavy diet of Pilates could do him wonders and increase his durability.
