What about Ty Law

Soooo, if the Pats signed Terrell Buckley (the original T-Buck, before Tebucky) today, and Otis Smith and Jeff Burris earlier this off-season, it looks like they may be ready to Jettison Ty Law!

OK, I know he's 30, but the man abused Peyton Manning, has a nose for the ball and is a big-time playmaker. I'd bet he's got 5 more years in his legs and could be more helpful than the Trotter pick-up we've all been talking about.

I don't want to become "that guy" who's always giddy about the next best thing, but I think this is worth a little discussion. Whadda y'all think?

welcome. we have had this discussion before in another thread somewheres down the line. In order to get Law there will have to be a trade and the price is just to high.

I dunno, maybe Haslett can sell them on the promise of Sullivan and Roger Allen, and the smarts of Orlando Ruff...

In order to get Law there will have to be a trade and the price is just to high.
Couldn\'t find the thread... what do you figure the cap-strapped, salary frugal Pats would want to get rid of an extra high-paid CB???

First-rounder, plus additional picks, plus a player. And then you have to pay Law five or six mill a year to make him happy.
